OK -- HA -- I'm taking a chance here because I don't know for sure that WeatherWool will actually ever appear on Discovery Channel's Outback Lockdown series.
In the USA, Outback Lockdown airs on the Discovery Channel, Sunday Nights, at 10 PM Eastern Standard Time ... for at least three weeks beginning July 19, 2020.
The series features two people riding out the Covid-19 epidemic in a very VERY remote part of the Australian Outback ... hence the name Outback Lockdown.
The stars of the show are:
- Ky Furneaux (@KyFurneaux on Instagram, and her website is KyFurneaux.com) is someone we know a little bit from correspondence and telephone. Ky is cheerful and friendly and one of those people that is so easy to speak with you feel instantly comfortable. But inside her is a very rare intensity. Years ago, Ky was seriously injured and doctors told her she might never really recover. But Ky became an extreme athlete and successful Hollywood stunt woman!
- Calem O'Grady (@CalemOGrady on Instagram) is a friend of Ky and, per his Instagram account: Bushcraft instructor; ;Meal conductor; Poem writer; Mirth inviter; Hunter; chef; outdoorsman; adventurer
Together, Ky and Calem will see how well they can "live off the land" and self-quarantine on a 36,000 acre sheep ranch owned by Ky's family in a very dry, hot and difficult part of Australia.
WeatherWool does not appear in the first three episodes, but if filming continues, Calem will be wearing our Anorak in Lynx Pattern ... Episode Two aired 26 July 2020. While Debby and I watched the show, we were messaging back and forth with Calem on the sheep ranch. That must have been the only time I was ever in contact with someone while at the same time watching him on TV.
