In July 2020, we sent an Anorak to Wendy, the founder and owner of KumasonCo, a company dedicated to pet safety and health. Wendy's review covers her first impressions. We look forward to hearing from her again after the weather turns to Fall and Winter. THANK YOU, WENDY!!

We decided to put Wendy's review on a separate page because she sent us several great photos.

First the photos, then the review!

Hi Ralph and Debby,

I keep looking and touching my new anorak like it was a pet, LOL. I love it. I tried on the gaiter and also really like it and how soft it was. Anyway, I wrote a review for the product if you want to use it. I'm also sending another photo.

Here it is:
I live in Pennsylvania and have been looking for a wool anorak to wear when I walk my two dogs in the winter. They are Akitas and thrive in the cold weather, the worse it is outside, the better they like it. I take them for long walks no matter if it’s snowing, raining, sleeting or in the single digit temperatures [about -15C]. I liked everything I saw and read about WeatherWool and especially the 100% wool anorak. I never realized how detailed wool is or how involved the process was to make WeatherWool products. I never even heard of Rambouillet Merino before which is what they use to make their products. I’m only 5 feet 2 inches tall and 110 pounds with a petite stature so I was a little worried about the fit, especially the sleeve length. I had numerous phone conversations with the owners of WeatherWool, Ralph and his wife Debby about the sizing and WeatherWool in general. They were very supportive, helpful and extremely knowledgeable and took their time in answering my questions. I even called them several times. I ended up ordering the XS FullWeight Anorak in the Duff color. When I received the anorak, it was better than I ever could have imagined! The package came within a few days as it was in stock. It was wrapped beautifully. It even came with a neat little boar two sided brush. The color is gorgeous, the wool is really soft and non scratchy, the craftsmanship is superb and the fit was PERFECT. I can go on and on and on. There was enough room for base layers too. The anorak has slot buttons which I never heard of. These are very secure and will not fall off. I cannot wait to wear my anorak. One more thing, the back is a bit longer than the front which will keep my rear end warm and dry. While it is expensive, it is definitely worth it. Its quality is unsurpassed. I love all the pockets, the side zippers for venting. Thank you Ralph, Debby and everyone involved for producing such a beautiful and functional product. I also ordered the Neck Gaiter (Balaclava, Multi-Scarf) in black. The Neck Gaiter is knitted and very soft, double layered and I know it will work great to keep my neck area warm. There are many different ways to wear it. I also ordered the Reversible Watch Cap in Black/Drab but will do a review once I receive it.
