QUALITY CONTROL CHECK LIST
SOUTH SHORE CHORE COAT

General Check Points
Features:
Circle One: FAIL -------- DELAY -------- OK
- Any pills, snags, or loose threads in the Fabric are effectively removed
- Collar ends are symmetrical
- All button holes sewn and trimmed properly
- Slot buttons sewn on securely
- All buttons align properly
- All buttons secure in buttonholes
- Pockets able to lay flat with no excess or protruding fabric
- All stitches tight and uniform; no skipped stitches or holes
- No visible loose threads
- Buttoned wrist cuff is functional and fitted
- Brand labels and care tags are attached and accurately reflect the product
- Seams straight
- Overall silhouette is consistent
- Fabric steamed if needed to remove wrinkles
- All pockets straight and aligned with one another
- Front pockets are lined up symmetrically
- Cargo pockets symmetrical
- Test seams on all pockets
- Chest measures within 0.5 inch allowance of size on tagF
- Sleeve measurements correspond with size chart
Packing & Presentation
CIRCLE ONE: FAIL --- DELAY --- OK
- Garment is carefully folded to prevent wrinkles and creases as best as possible
- Folded garment is wrapped in paper and sealed with a WeatherWool gold sticker
- Garment hang tag is visible from outside of packaging, with the fabric type being face-side
- Size stickers are added (one on the garment, and one on the wrapping paper)
- Dust bag is used to protect the garment in transit
- Label is added to outside of packed garment, reflecting the garment name, fabric type, fabric color, and size
Following this checklist ensures the Denim Chore Coat meets the high standards expected of a Weatherwool product, delivering not just functionality but also the refined craftsmanship that reflects an American made and manufactured garment.
Keep an eye out for Trouble areas!! For this specific design, trouble areas tend to be:
- Both layers of fabric on front pockets are sewn together and there are no holes
- Fabric sticking out in the inside corners of cuff
- Button tape is sewn down securely
- Tag is fastened around loop, indicating the correct fabric type, size, and color.
