The Collar is very wide and when flipped up will provide a great deal of additional protection. The corners of the collar will be rounded in the final design.
Slash-Style Handwarmer Pockets are warm and unobtrusive.
The Jacket can be worn with or without the Belt. The Belt Loops are very inconspicuous and will not be noticed if the Belt is not worn.
The Center Front Zipper will come all the way up to the neck.
We always use Double Zippers to secure the Center Front of our garments. We will NOT use Snaps to secure the Storm Flap in the actual production garment. Most likely, we'll use Slot Buttons, but perhaps an interesting type of more-traditional button.
Rear view of the Ladies Field Jacket. We will probably add a second layer of our Fabric (Double Yoke) over the top of the shoulders, chest and back. The Double Yoke will add enormous rain resistance but also add a lot of warmth and wind resistance for the upper torso.
The Storm Flap of this prototype Jacket is secured by snaps but we have decided we will instead use buttons ... perhaps Slot Buttons but we are open to alternatives.
