We have heard from a few Anorak wearers that they have added a shearling or mouton insert into their front pouch.  We think this is a great idea!  We made a few of our own from mouton pelts to test it out and liked it very much.  If you would like to make one yourself, we recommend making a templet of the pouch – minus about ½ inch.  The hide stays in place very well on its own, or you could add buttons to fix into the front buttonholes.  Always tinkering….  We would love to hear if/how you have adapted your anorak to your needs.
