Up Mountain Switchel
Up Mountain Switchel (DrinkSwitchel.com) is a traditional American drink. It was prized in New England and other places for its restorative powers. It's made with maple syrup, ginger, apple cider vinegar and water, and it's a favorite here at WeatherWool. The fellows who founded Switchel started wearing WeatherWool in 2014, and we've gotten to know one or two of them really well.
Below is a picture of Garrett Riffle on Venice Beach in California. When this picture was taken, the guys were playing around some and I think Garrett has been surprised by how much we like it. But it shows our FullWeight ShirtJac in Lynx Pattern in a city-casual environment, at the beach, and we appreciate the demonstration of versatility. But also, you can see Garrett's friends (Switchel co-founder Ely Key on the right) are dressed for warm weather, but Garrett nevertheless chose to wear the ShirtJac. If the temp suddenly dropped down somewhere below freezing, Garrett would have still been comfortable. Is it possible Garrett is the only one smiling because of the ShirtJac?
As an Owner and Founder of Up Mountain Switchel, Garrett has wide ranging responsibilities ... everyone who owns a business will understand what that means ...
