Wool Cleans Indoors Air

I don't really know anything about this subject, so I am just going to uncritically repost some casual research.

For a long time, I've been hearing that wool can help clean indoor air pollution.   Modern buildings, particularly when new, often have malodorous and even unhealthy chemicals diffusing into the air from materials used in construction and finishing.  

Perplexity.ai gave the following response to the question CAN WOOL CLEAN INDOOR AIR?

Perplexity offered a bunch of footnotes as part of the response to my question.  It also offered a bunch of anticipated followup questions:

  • Can wool filters remove viruses and bacteria from indoor air effectively
  • How does wool's biodegradability benefit long-term air quality improvement
  • What specific pollutants can wool insulation or filters neutralize indoors
  • Does wool's natural structure help in reducing microplastic pollution in homes
  • How does wool compare to synthetic materials in maintaining healthy indoor air

  

With such research freely and instantly available to anyone with a web browser, I don't think there is any point in me doing more than intro this (AMAZING!!!!) topic!
