Video Fabric and Garment Production

[Return to Main Videos Page.]

There will eventually be quite a few videos showing different steps in the production of WeatherWool.

On 19 August 2022, Giuseppe Monteleone, Plant Manager at American Woolen Company, sent me a video of our FullWeight Lynx Fabric on the drying machine.

Here is how Giuseppe explained the drying process:

Hello Ralph,
This is a dryer machine that applies heat uniformly to the fabric. The purpose of this operation is to dry the cloth with high temperature, under tension, so that the cloth is brought to the desired width for the next process which is Napping.
Thank you --- Giuseppe

This next video shows how a stack of WeatherWool is handled by the cutters.

Here is the other end of production ... shipping the garments out to customers.

Debby and I bought an old, sort-of-big house back when we were young and thought we'd have 6 or more children. We have only three kids but have somehow managed to fill the house anyway. At this point, WeatherWool occupies the majority of our home ...
