New York City
I just thought of doing this page this morning. We are going to add pictures of WeatherWool in New York City and other cities to this page. WeatherWool can take the punishment of serious field use, but is also worn routinely in pure urban environments.
Many of our garments are cut and sewn in NYC, some of our components are purchased there, and although I am a country-boy at heart, every time I'm in NYC I feel I belong there too. Debby was born in Brooklyn, I was born only a few miles away and I can't remember a time when I didn't love America's Big Town. Maybe because of my NYC roots, I also love lots of other cities and I hope we get plenty of pictures from around the world to add to this page.
This first picture is WeatherWool Advisor JR Morrissey. JR is our design and production consultant, and he is based in the Garment District, the engine of America's clothing and fashion industries. This pic was taken outside JR's office, when we approved the TOP (Top Of Production) of our ShirtJac ... that is, the first ShirtJac made in the production run. I had the idea for JR to put on the Shirt for an Action Shot ...
