Big Brim Boonie Reviews

The best places to see independent WeatherWool reviews, lots of them, with new ones coming out steadily, are Instagram, YouTube and the many websites and web forums. But I put a review here from time to time.

Actually, we have gotten a lot of reviews on this Hat but I just haven't posted ... Thanks! -- Ralph

18 November 2020, from Will Cooke (following up on his review from last month): "Still loving my hat, it's literally living on my head, was out for hours in an epic storm today, it performed exceptionally! Amazing how it keeps me feeling warm and dry even as it soaks out."

26 October 2020, from Will Cooke:  "I love it! Its a great addition to my kit, I'm in the cold wet and wild of Scotland now and it lives on my head every time I leave the house. Keeps me warm and dry. Combined with my wool anorak being in the rain is a joy, the rain falls silently and I stay warm and dry untouched by it, wonderful! Of course, your most welcome to use my review. The hat is great, just right!"

7 May 2018, from Mark Brooks of Kansas, who has a few pieces of WeatherWool:
"I am surprised wearing it in the sun in warmer weather is comfortable and it breathes well. The heat of the sun is not transmitted through the material as cotton or straw would be. I was at a festival and there was a camel there, the wool on his back was so soft, and I thought that must be what keeps the sun and heat off their body. And as I told you the acids in our sweat and oil off our skin won't harm the wool like it will cotton and probably straw. Expect many years out of these hats."
