John Jewell raises some of the finest sheep in the USA, and we made garments from the wool in this photo.

Easy start ... All our Fabrics are 100% WeatherWool Certified Fine Wool.   And there is not much else in our garments.

And we know we are pretty clean, because a swatch of Lynx Pattern Fabric passed OEKO-Tex 100 Standards testing.

What about the WEIGHT of the Fabric and the weave?  Are those ingredients?  Maybe ... All our garments bear a label that states the name of the Fabric, which also, roughly, specifies the weave:

This label specifies that all ingredients (and labor) are American, that the wool meets our own WeatherWool Certification Standards, and that it is woven in a Denim pattern.

We have also been adding Batch Tags to all garments made since the purchases of raw wool in 2018:

You can research each Batch for details on the Ranches that grew the wool, when the wool was purchased, how it was processed, etc.

In some cases, all of the wool was grown on a single Ranch.  As of 2026, the Innes Ranch is the only Ranch that has supplied all of the fiber for an entire Batch, but we hope to eventually make all our Fabrics from individual Ranches.  This is going to require WeatherWool to spend a bunch of money, or, for some other processor to change the way they do business.  

SunDog in the Gillette Wyoming Wool Warehouse in April of 2024, shortly after shearing, when the greasy wool was delivered to the Warehouse.  Behind me is some of the greasy wool that is Batch Innes-1 (aka Batch 11.  When all of the fiber in a Batch comes from a single Ranch, we will also add a Ranch label.  The INNES RANCH label superimposed on this photo is sewn into all Batch Innes-1 garments, and it will also be sewn into all Batch 14 (Batch Innes-2) garments.  Innes-2 will become Fabric in 2027.
