In May of 2026, we purchased the first "half" of Batch Geis-1 (aka Batch 16), which will be 100% Geis Ranch fiber.

The "Geis Ewe" clip had some super specs, and totaled 23,380 pounds (10,603 kg).

We plan to complete purchasing of Batch Geis-1 in April of 2027.

The Geis Ranch is close to the Innes Ranch (source of Batch Innes-1) and the stock shares some genetics.  Most importantly, their fiber exhibits similar, terrific properties.

We expect the 2026 Geis clip to sit in the Ranchers' Cooperative Wool Warehouse in Gillette, Wyoming, until we purchase the Geis 2027 clip, completing the 40,000 pounds (18,000 kg) minimum weight of fiber necessary for a "Single-Source" Batch of Fabric.
