“Knowledge of self, knowing what you are made of, is a valuable lesson that can only truly be learned through facing challenges. When you are cold, wet, tired, hungry, and scared…that’s when you meet the real you.” - Joshua Enyart
Joshua Enyart is a former Army Ranger (Regiment and School) and Green Beret (Weapons Sergeant) with extensive outdoor experience in less than ideal conditions, from the extreme cold of the Adirondack Mountains in Upstate NY, throughout the Appalachians and Eastern and Southeastern Woodlands, the Jungles and Tropical Rain Forests of Central America; the Middle Eastern deserts; and the Hindu Kush Mountains of Afghanistan.
In addition to being a member of two US Army Special Operations units, Joshua was an Instructor for Pre-Ranger where he prepared students for the rigors of the US Army Ranger School; an Instructor for the US Air Force Special Operations Command focusing on Weapons, Small Unit Tactics, and Fieldcraft; and an Instructor for the US Marine Corps Special Operations Command focusing on Snipers, Fieldcraft, and Ground Warfare. He now focuses on teaching survival, bushcraft, and preparedness skills at his school in the Adirondacks as well as the Pathfinder School in Ohio.
Joshua has a very well established base in emergency medicine with experience as an Emergency Medical Technician, Emergency Room Technician, and Tactical Combat Casualty Care. He is also a Biology Major for his undergraduate studies.

Dave Canterbury, who runs the school, is also a WeatherWool Advisor, is at left, and in the middle is Shawn Kelly, who has a large YouTube following. Dave likes all of his instructors to wear Lynx Pattern during classes.
In July of 2021, Josh published his first book, SURVIVING THE WILD.
