Ron Spomer has been an outdoors writer since 1972, and I think I must have read the first article he published, because I feel like I've been reading his words my whole life. Ron has a website and is active on Instagram, Facebook and Youtube.

In summer of 2017, we sent Ron a couple of pieces to evaluate.  He sent a few comments and these four pictures on October 11th. "I'm afraid I'm starting to fall in love with a jacket. I spent the last two weeks alternately wearing the WeatherWool All-Around Jacket, a fleece poly jacket and a nylon poly fill jacket — and I find myself liking the WW best. The first pic we saw of Ron in WeatherWool arrived when it was still summer, and featured a gorgeous rainbow trout. Ron posted this on Instagram, 25 August 2017.

As Fall weather is bringing lower temps, Ron is wearing his All Around Jacket more often. He has lately posted a Youtube review of the Ddupleks shotgun slug which we found quite interesting in itself ... and of course we got a kick that he was wearing the same jacket shown in the picture above.
