I've had the pleasure of putting my anorak and AAJ to work these past winter months. The anorak in particular has proven very versatile in a number of environments. We are gearing up to prep our property in southwest VA this winter for a full crop of blueberries and hopefully a barn raising as well, and I am most certainly going to be wearing wool during all of it. I've attached a photo from a recent trip to the Whites in New Hampshire this January [2020] where I wore the anorak every day during our hikes - including in inclement weather. Let's just say I was more comfortable than the misses. This photo in particular was taken on Mt. Washington.
